Julia Eggert holds a Masters Degree in biology from the University of Bayreuth in Germany and has studied for one year at the University of York in Great Britain. Her Masters thesis was on carboxidotrophic bacteria, and her research interests are currently focused in particular on the molecular background for, and the consequences of, genetically modified organisms. Eggert is currently a researcher with GenØk.
