Tom Christian Tonheim's Honours Degree is in fish health from the University of Tromsø (2003), and he is now a Doctorate student in the project ”Introduction of genetic engineering in aquaculture: ethical and ecological implications for science and governance”. The project is financed by the FUGE-programme at the Research Council of Norway. His work place is at the Institute of Marine Biotechnology at the Norwegian College of Fishery Science, University of Tromsø.
